Five and a half years ago, in the midst of bustling Los Angeles, the city that never stops, except on the 405, the 101, the 110, etc., a girl made up her mind to try online dating again after a stint of bad and awkward dates.  At that very same time, a boy, ready to up and leave the land of perfect cultivated weather (somewhere between 65 and 75 degrees year round) downloaded that same online dating app for one last reason to stay. 

            They logged on, they swiped right, she said hi, he said hi, she made some jokes, he laughed, he made some jokes and she laughed (even though they weren’t funny).  He asked her on a date.  She said yes and then later asked if shorts were ok, he said yes, they would probably be ok.  They went to dinner and after she showed him her muscles, they planned their second date, a motorcycle riding course, and an international vacation.  They fell in love, moved in together, he adopted her dog Harley as a step dogter, and the rest is history.
